Border Force
The Border Force is responsible for passport control checks, on behalf of the Home Office. Heathrow records queue lengths and reports monthly.
Central security queues
Queue times at security control in Heathrow departures are measured as part of the Civil Aviation Authority's regulation.
Service quality rebate scheme
The CAA has introduced a service quality rebate scheme which records performance in a number of areas and incentivises quality of service.
