Heathrow special assistance bus

The Heathrow special assistance bus is available to connecting passengers with reduced mobility, to help with transfers between terminals.

All our Flight Connections buses provide accessible transport to your departure terminal. However, if you need to pass through arrivals (to pick up baggage, for example) they won’t be available for your journey.

In this case, when you arrive at Heathrow simply tell a member of staff that you need to use the special assistance bus. It will call at the terminal forecourt to collect you.

This service is provided free of charge.

Can I travel with my baby/Child on the Help Bus?

Yes, you can travel with your baby/Child.

  • We strongly recommend that you bring a child car seat appropriate to your child's age but have to ask you to please take responsibility to fit the seat yourself.
  • Children aged 12 and 13 years (and younger children who are 1.35 metres or taller) must use the seat belt provided.
