Brightly-colored sun face decorations in Mexico City

Aeromexico currently operate three flights per week from Heathrow, will start a fourth frequency in April and a fifth in June using its new Boeing 787 Dreamliner for the service. British Airways currently run five flights per week and will operate a daily service in the summer.

North America's highest city has a long and fascinating history that runs from ancient native civilisations through to the invasion of the Conquistadors and subsequent colonial rule.

Perched on top of an ancient Aztec civilisation and set against the backdrop of ice-capped volcanoes and mountains, this vast metropolis has a number of fascinating sights and attractions. Don’t miss the breath-taking Zocolo Square (the second largest in the world) and the Bosque de Chapultepec Park which houses the National Museum of Anthropology. At Teotihuacan, visitors will discover one of the most impressive and mysterious archaeological sites in Mexico, constructed by an ancient, and long forgotten culture.

When your sightseeing is done, why not discover Merced; the city's largest and most vibrant market, with a vast array of bizarre and exciting stalls and no doubt you will come away with a big smile, just like the brightly-coloured sun faces seen above.
