Over the next five years we will invest £4.8 billion in the refurbishment and renewal of Heathrow’s facilities.  In particular this year we will:

• Begin the refurbishment of Terminal 4 following the move of British Airways to Terminal 5
• Continue to focus on reducing security queues through investment in security technology
• Work with Heathrow’s airlines on a complex airline moves programme following British Airways move to Terminal 5. This will enable quicker transfers for their passengers.
