What our stakeholders tell us

We have a programme in place to ensure we are fully informed of our stakeholders views on an on-going basis. This year we carried out our annual survey of 1,000 people living locally to gauge perceptions of the airport on a range of issues. Feedback from this helps to inform our corporate responsibility programme.

The survey showed that 74% of people interviewed felt favourably towards the airport citing the employment opportunities that the airport brought to the local area. That's alongside the social benefits we give, making travel accessible to people, broadening their horizons, reuniting with family around the world, doing business overseas and enjoying holidays to the full.

However, noise from the airport was one of people’s biggest concerns, alongside pollution and crime.
