Special assistance: buses and coaches
Search Heathrow
Heathrow is the UK’s only hub airport and an important economic asset. But today Heathrow is full and vulnerable to foreign competition.
Buses and coaches
Numerous buses and coaches serve the central bus station (Terminals 1 and 3), Terminal 4 and Terminal 5.
Certain buses stop only in the central area (Terminals 1 and 3). In this case you can transfer free using the rail shuttles to Terminal 4 (Heathrow Connect) and Terminal 5 (Heathrow Express).
If you have mobility problems, look for the Help Bus sign at the central bus station. You can call the bus using the telephone at Stand 6.
If you need assistance to reach Terminals 1 or 3, please use the help point telephone in the bus station (it's located en route to the Underground station).
Several local bus services use low-floor vehicles but long-distance coaches tend not to be wheelchair-accessible.
