Buses from Heathrow to rail stations
Direct luxury Railair coaches and buses connect Heathrow to the national rail network. You can buy a combined coach and train ticket to cover your whole journey.
Railair coaches run between Heathrow and Reading, Woking or Watford Junction from early morning until late at night. There's also a 24-hour bus service, number 285, to Feltham rail station.
You don't have to be a rail passenger to use these services.
Heathrow to Reading
RailAir coaches run from Heathrow to Reading station for trains to Bristol, west and south-west England, south Wales, the south Midlands and the Cotswolds.
- Frequency: Up to every 20 minutes.
- Journey time: Approximately 45 minutes.
- Fare: Single £13, day return £14.50, return £21.

Heathrow to Watford Junction
Greenline coaches run from Heathrow to Watford Junction, for trains to the Midlands, Manchester, Liverpool, north-west England and Scotland.
- Frequency: Hourly.
- Journey time: Approximately 45 minutes.
- Fare: Single £7.50, return £15.

Heathrow to Woking
National Express coaches run from Heathrow to Woking station, for trains to Aldershot, Winchester, Salisbury, Portsmouth, Southampton and Bournemouth.
- Frequency: Up to every 30 minutes.
- Journey time: Approximately 50 minutes.
- Fare: Single £9, day return £12, return £18.

Heathrow to Feltham
The 285 bus runs from Heathrow to Feltham for trains to Richmond, Camberley, Bracknell, London Waterloo and Clapham Junction (for connections to southern England). At night the N285 operates every 30 minutes along the same route.
- Frequency: Up to every 10 minutes.
- Journey time: Approximately 30 minutes.
- Fare: Single under £5.

Where to catch buses and coaches
All services call at the central bus station, which is a few minutes' walk from Terminals 1 and 3 via underground walkways. The bus station is open 24 hours a day and the travel centre is open from 06:00 to 22:30. Baggage trolleys are available and there is a lift to the underground level.
Woking and Reading services also call at Terminal 5 and a limited number of services run to Terminal 4 – your operator can advise. Passengers using these terminals can also transfer free to or from Heathrow Central (for the bus station) by Heathrow Express or Heathrow Connect train.
