What am I hearing, and why?
If you're hearing aircraft noise, it will be for one or more of these reasons:
- Living or working very close to the airport.
- Living or working under a flight path and hearing aircraft taking off.
- Living or working under the approach path and hearing aircraft coming in to land.
- Living or working under an aircraft stack – planes waiting to come in to land.
- Living or working between an aircraft stack and the airport and hearing planes heading for final approach.
