London Underground strike: 8-9 July
Due to planned strike action across the London Underground network, there will be no tube services from 18:30 Wednesday 8 July and all day Thursday 9 July.
Heathrow Express, Heathrow Connect trains and National Express coaches will be operating normal schedules. Bus services will be operating but are expected to be busier than usual and roads are expected to be congested.
First Great Western trains from London Paddington to western England and Wales are expected to be disrupted for 48 hours from 18:30 on Wednesday 8 July. Other national rail services are expected to operate as normal.
Passengers are advised to allow plenty of time for their journey to and from the airport. Updates and help with journey planning can be found on our transport pages and at the Transport for London website.
