Local buses to Heathrow
An extensive local bus network provides a low-cost route between Heathrow and towns in west London, as well as free travel within the airport itself.

Tickets and fares
With effect from 6 July 2014 cash payment is no longer accepted on TfL buses.
Instead you can use:
A pay-as-you-go adult fare is £1.45 with an Oyster, Visitor Oyster or contactless payment card. UK-issued contactless payment cards are accepted.

Free travel around Heathrow

Where to catch buses
Heathrow central bus station is located between Terminals 1, 2 and 3. The terminals are a few minutes' walk away and well signposted.
The bus station is open 24 hours a day and the travel centre is open from 06:00 to 22:30. Baggage trolleys are available and there is a lift to the underground level.
